Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Boss Coach provides an AI-powered leadership bootcamp designed for new managers transitioning from individual contributor roles. The service includes a personalized 4-week coaching curriculum delivered through daily sessions with Cedric, an AI executive coach powered by Anthropic's Claude language models. The service also includes progress tracking, competency assessments, session summaries, and a final growth report.

2. AI Coaching Disclaimer

Cedric is an artificial intelligence coach, not a human professional. The coaching provided by Boss Coach is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or licensed professional coaching. The AI-generated coaching content is intended for educational and professional development purposes only. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or need professional support, please contact a qualified professional. Boss Coach makes no guarantees regarding specific career outcomes or professional advancement resulting from use of the service.

3. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Boss Coach accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared with or transferred to other individuals.

4. Payment Terms

Boss Coach offers the following payment structure:

• Free Trial: Day 1 of the bootcamp is available at no cost. No payment information is required to start your trial.
• Bootcamp Purchase: A one-time payment unlocks the remaining 19 days of your personalized 4-week bootcamp. This is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.
• Post-Bootcamp Subscription: After completing your bootcamp, you may optionally subscribe to ongoing coaching sessions with Cedric on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue through the end of your current billing period.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Refund requests for the bootcamp purchase may be submitted within 7 days of purchase by contacting support@bosscoach.ai.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the AI coaching system
• Share account credentials with others or create multiple accounts
• Submit content that is abusive, harassing, or harmful to others
• Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Boss Coach service, including its coaching curriculum, framework content, AI prompts, and user interface, is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit during coaching sessions. We retain ownership of AI-generated coaching responses, session summaries, and growth reports, while granting you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use them for your own professional development.

7. Limitation of Liability

Boss Coach is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boss Coach and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Boss Coach in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Data deletion following account termination is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice within the service. Continued use of Boss Coach after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
